Abstract: This caucus will focus on addressing DEI backlash in organizational settings and advancing allyship through evidence-based strategies. We have invited expert scholars on DEI backlash and allyship, as well as those who wish to learn and advance this topic, to join this conversation. Participants will engage with cutting-edge research to explore how dominant-group employees can overcome social identity threats to foster meaningful allyship, as well as how intersectional dynamics influence relational allyship for marginalized groups. This session will provide an interactive forum for scholars and practitioners to share insights and develop collaborative research agendas aimed at disrupting backlash and building sustainable inclusion practices.
