The growing interest in corporate purpose marks a new approach in management, highlighting its influence on organizational commitment, cohesion, performance and resilience. This influence derives not only from declaring a purpose, but from its active activation into the organizational routine, promoting a shared sense of purpose among all employees. Addressing the challenge of investigating the implementation of purpose within companies, this article aims to delve into the challenge of measuring the implementation of purpose. To this end, working together with academics and practitioners in an Action Research project, we have developed a model with key variables for purpose implementation, identified valid and reliable measurement instruments to assess each of the variables, and created a process to diagnose the degree of purpose implementation in an organization. This process has been validated through a case study in a research center.
