The impact of collective affective experiences, on the resourcefulness of entrepreneurs is explored. The need to effectively manage resources is a reality for entrepreneurs. I find that fluctuating resources generate affective experiences, that emerge as being relational, core and transformational, based on the emotions of the entrepreneurs and the members of their local community. I develop a theoretical model to understand the impact of the affective experiences of the actors at the founding entrepreneur level, micro entrepreneur level and community member level, that collectively emerge as collective psychological ownership (CPO) and impact the resourceful behaviours. The study introduces mechanisms include: fostering, sharing, providing and supporting that impact resourceful behaviours. The study contributes to the resourcefulness phenomenon discussed in the entrepreneurship literature, through the theoretical model that explains these relationships, using the theoretical lens of CPO. The research contributes to the entrepreneurship literature and introduces mechanisms through which collective affective experiences impact resourcefulness.
