Recent studies show a growing interest in family business research, especially in top-tier journals. Indeed, studying family firms and their peculiarities is relevant since they are the most prevalent form of entrepreneurial organization worldwide and the backbone of the world economy, with approximately 80% of firms being family-owned. Despite the increasing research in family business, making a significant contribution to top-tier journals is still particularly challenging. Thus, this workshop provides an opportunity to hear, learn, and receive feedback from a panel of editors from top-tier journals in entrepreneurship, management, and organization studies. The aim of this session is to address how to publish family business research in top-tier journals. The workshop will last approximately two hours. The format will include a panel, a debate, and roundtable discussions.
