This PDW challenges management scholars to rethink their approach to sustainability by exploring the potential of biodiversity regeneration and conservation in shaping their research. The PDW begins with an introduction to the topic, setting the stage for the keynotes and short presentations. It then examines the current state of research, presenting diverse viewpoints, including insights from conservation science and practice, an overview of the evolving relationship between business and nature, and quantitative and spatial methods for measuring and assessing the business-nature interconnection. The final part features roundtables and a panel discussion, encouraging participants to critically engage with the topics presented. A dedicated provocateur will synthesize the key takeaways, posing questions to stimulate deeper exploration. Our PDW provides a platform for scholars from ONE and other AOM divisions (i.e., SIM, STR, OMT, ODC, CMS) to exchange ideas, address research gaps, and develop solutions at the intersection of business management and biodiversity regeneration and conservation.
