We feature innovations in learning leadership and advance the Responsible Management Learning and leadership development agenda by focusing on the impact of the learning journeys. By advancing both theory and practice on how we “learn” leadership we respond to calls for improving the evidence-base in leader and leadership development and promote learning for impact marked by flourishing and the common good. Flourishing of all life on the planet calls for attending simultaneously to the ‘I’ (leader development) with the ‘We’ (leadership development) and in doing so, to explicate how the ‘Us’ and ‘Our’ actions contributes through development to serve the common good. In this respect, we reassess the ways we account for development in leader and leadership development, how we foster learning leadership based on our definitions of who is a leader, how leading takes place or when actions are marked as ‘leadership’. The pluralistic pedagogical approaches we showcase signal the promising practices and the scope these provide for Business Schools to realize their impact in shaping a better world through responsibilization. Responsibilization is an inseparable part of learning leadership for flourishing and what it means to cultivate and activate responsibility. It is intimately connected to humanistic management dedicated towards realizing human potential. Responsibilization mobilizes the momentum and response to the creative systems changes to co-create our ‘preferred’ not merely ‘desirable’ futures. We frame this as advancing a new management education manifesto focusing on Global Flourishing Goals that overcomes the stalemate of progress in addressing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
