The Innovations in Teaching Teamwork PDW is a practical, highly interactive workshop designed for faculty and students who are interested in learning more about cutting-edge tools and techniques for teaching others how to lead teams effectively. The 2025 session represents the sixth iteration of this popular workshop, and this year’s session will focus on topics related to “teaming around the world” – how instructors teach topics related to global or cross-cultural teamwork. International experts will share insights and exercises related to teaming across cultures, including the use of AI in teaching cross-cultural teamwork, leveraging national differences for effective teamwork, and active learning experiences to facilitate understanding of global teaming. This session will consist of two parts, with each part consisting of presentations, question and answer interaction with the audience, and small group breakouts with discussants. It is the intent of this session to facilitate a collective learning experience where panelists, discussants, and attendees gain practical strategies by equipping them with tools and techniques to teach global teamwork, helping students and professionals navigate the complexities of modern, culturally diverse organizations.
