Entrepreneurship and innovation scholars are increasingly recognizing the potential of design science to advance research and practice. However, as a relatively novel research approach, design science raises several questions regarding its publication in high-impact journals. This Professional Development Workshop (PDW) addresses critical issues such as editors’ expectations for design science papers, strategies for making a strong scholarly contribution, and approaches to crafting a seminal design science article. Panelists will offer concise insights on frequently raised questions, followed by an interactive Q&A session with participants. By facilitating structured discussions, this PDW seeks to provide actionable guidance for publishing design science research in leading journals, foster knowledge exchange, and strengthen the design science scholarly community.
