This Professional Development Workshop (PDW) focuses on advancing participants' understanding and application of scholarly impact through the Contextualized Scholarly Impact Index (CSII), a specialized tool tailored for management research, and better understanding scholarly impact which is often narrowly measured through citation counts and requires a broader conceptualization to include diverse stakeholders such as academia, policymakers, industry professionals, and global organizations. Participants will explore actionable strategies for enhancing their Scholarly Impact Performance (SIP) across personal, educational, societal, and global dimensions using the CORE performance model. The PDW will empower attendees with practical skills to measure and improve their impact. First, they will learn to employ CSII to assess scholarly influence through a contextualized, management-focused evaluation. CSII provides transparent, contextualized metrics that go beyond traditional citation indices. Second, participants will engage with the construct of scholarly impact performance (SIP) which is derived from the CORE performance model (Capacity, Opportunity, Relevant Exchanges), to develop strategies for enhancing their SIP at individual and organizational levels. Through interactive sessions, attendees will create Personal Impact Development Plans, explore tools for engaging non-academic stakeholders, and examine case studies illustrating SIP improvement in practice. By the end of this workshop, participants will have a robust framework and practical toolkit for assessing and enhancing their scholarly impact, ensuring their research not only advances theory but also creates meaningful societal and global change. This PDW is a must-attend for researchers and institutions seeking to maximize the resonance and reach of their academic contributions.
