Driven by advancements in digital technologies, artificial intelligence is increasingly integrated into traditional industries, propelling companies toward smarter development. The impact of AI on businesses has become a prominent topic across various sectors. This article draws on survey data from 22 AI-related companies to explore the mediating roles of self-efficacy, employee innovation behavior, and knowledge-sharing behavior in the relationship between AI applications and employee work performance. Additionally, it uncovers the underlying mechanisms through which AI applications influence employee performance.
