Remote work improves work-life alignment by reducing interference and providing flexibility in managing work and life domains. This supportive environment enables employees to focus on their responsibilities, enhancing motivation and fostering innovation in their roles. This study explores the relationships between meaningful work, growth need strength, work-life interference, and innovative behavior with a focus on the mediating roles of growth need strength and work-life interference in a remote work environment. Data were collected from 326 respondents and analyzed using structural equation modeling to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings revealed that meaningful work positively influences employees’ growth need strength, work-life interference, and innovative behavior in remote work environments. Moreover, growth need strength and work-life interference were found to directly enhance employees’ innovative behavior. Work-life interference mediated the relationship between meaningful work and innovative behavior. Implications for research and practice will be discussed in the poster presentation.
