During venture pursuits, entrepreneurs encounter a variety of stressors and employ numerous coping mechanisms. This study seeks to conduct a literature review on the types of stressors entrepreneurs face and their subsequent approaches to coping. We analyze and summarize the relevant research using an integrative review of 73 peer-reviewed articles. We used an inductive method to determine implicit data structure and a qualitative classification strategy to examine existing literature. This work outlines the patterns and themes that emerge from the investigations. As a result of a research synthesis of extant arguments, we conceptualize a stressor-coping process model. We identify research avenues and provide entrepreneurs and policymakers with implications
