Entrepreneurial mentoring is gradually recognized as one of the key components of the entrepreneurial support ecosystem. This systematic literature review explores the complex dynamics of entrepreneurial mentoring across multiple levels, aiming to deepen understanding of how these interconnected layers influence entrepreneurial outcomes. Analyzing 66 studies from Scopus and Web of Science, we identified trends in research methodologies, thematic focuses, and geographic distributions, and revealed that while the impacts of mentoring on individual outcomes are recognized in the literature, the wider implications are not fully captured. Consequently, to assist in further exploration and theoretical advancement in entrepreneurial mentoring, we abstracted key themes, proposed a comprehensive framework accordingly, and suggested a refined definition of entrepreneurial mentoring.
