This study investigates the relationship between organizational corruption and employee public service motivation with the mediating role of moral disengagement and the moderating role of religiosity. Time-lagged data were collected from 297 full-time employees working in public sector organizations in Pakistan. The results from a 2-1-1 multilevel structural equation modeling analysis showed that organizational corruption is positively related to employee moral disengagement, which in turn, is positively associated with employee public service motivation. Finally, the study showed a significant moderating role of religiosity in the relationship between organizational corruption, moral disengagement, and subsequent public service motivation.
