Addressing grand societal challenges such as climate change, migration, and inequality requires a radical transformation in how business schools educate their students. This study explores a master’s course within a business school that integrates experiential learning and performative pedagogy to develop students’ capacity for empathetic problem-solving and collaboration. I contribute to the literature on responsible management learning and education, experiential learning, and performativity, illustrating how innovative pedagogies can operationalize humanistic principles and empower students to deal with societal issues. My findings encourage educators and institutions to rethink traditional paradigms of management education, offering insights into creating spaces where students can develop their collaborative mindset and engage in new ways of thinking to challenge systemic challenges.
