Intervention research is a system wide approach to management that can be compared to medical research. Due to the complex set of variables involved in intervention research, most research outcomes are published in books or in the format of case studies. However, it is more difficult to get published in academic journals as very few publications outlets accept system thinking as opposed to specialized approaches. The PDW session will present methods and tips to enable acceptance of academic papers based on intervention research.
