Generative AI technologies, including Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPTs), are transforming management research. These tools act as both "research tools"—capturing participant data and simulating human-like responses—and "process tools"—streamlining the research lifecycle from ideation to dissemination. Their dynamic interfaces bridge theoretical frameworks with actionable insights, fostering methodological rigor and innovation across disciplines like HRM, marketing, and finance. This workshop will help management scholars with the skills to leverage custom GPTs in academic and professional contexts. Participants will explore how GPTs enhance workflows and research outcomes by embedding them within real-world environments. The session features expert presentations showcasing use cases and technologies for custom GPTs. Attendees will engage in hands-on exercises to map workflows, develop tailored GPT applications, and refine their outputs collaboratively. This interactive session, led by researchers from the Center for Hybrid Intelligence at Aarhus University in Denmark, highlights the potential of GPT technologies to bridge theory and practice.
