Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to machines carrying out cognitive tasks usually associated with human intelligence, such as problem solving, learning, and interacting. Recent advances in AI and machine learning technologies have led to an increased use of algorithmic tools by knowledge workers in organizations to augment their work. Not surprisingly, this also applies to management educators in business schools who are reshaping how they teach. In this PDW, we will explore various implications of AI for strategic management teaching, with a focus on innovative teaching methods that make use of AI, including AI as a new project team member and AI as a tool to guide small-group breakout discussions. This workshop brings together experts in this field who are developing new platforms, simulations and other methods and have already gathered extensive experience using these at world-class institutions.
