In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, the need for healthcare professionals (HCPs) to possess both clinical expertise and strong management skills has never been more critical. Medical companies, in collaboration with educational institutions, can play a transformative role in strengthening healthcare systems through targeted education and training, as well as management consulting processes. This PDW will explore how management education for physicians and surgeons can bridge the gap between clinical practice and healthcare management, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes. By leveraging partnerships between medical companies and management & ODC consultants, we will discuss how management training programs, like the Socioeconomic Approach to Medical Intervention (SEAMI), can empower healthcare providers with the necessary skills to address organizational challenges, optimize performance, and improve overall healthcare delivery.
