The Organizational Behavior (OB) Mid-Career Faculty Workshop is designed for faculty members who consider themselves mid-career. This typically includes scholars who have earned tenure but are not yet full professors (i.e., are at the associate-level) or the equivalent in non-tenure-granting institutions. The workshop aims to provide a platform for attendees to connect with senior Faculty Fellows, receive guidance, and ask questions about navigating the challenges and opportunities of this career stage. Discussion topics will be determined based on input from attendees but may include: 1. Career enablers (e.g., joint appointments, sabbaticals, changing institutions) 2. Research advancement (e.g., finding new collaborators, securing grants, expanding publication portfolios through writing and editing books) 3. Service and engagement (e.g., department chair, center director, professional service) 4. Promotion planning The Faculty Fellows represent a diverse group of senior faculty from different countries with varied career experiences. The workshop format is highly interactive, featuring a mix of panels and small group discussions. Participation will be limited to 50 attendees who must attend in person. Pre-registration will be required. We are requesting the workshop be held on Friday afternoon.
