In recent years, the rise of antisemitism in the United States and globally has directly impacted the world of management scholars. Antisemitism, in the form of hate crimes, microaggressions, and boycotts, is affecting the workplaces we study, the campuses where we teach, and scholars access to fellowships and research collaborations. While antisemitism is not dissimilar from other forms of bigotry and bias, including racism, sexism, anti-LGBTQ, or Islamaphobia, antisemitism is not frequently included under the DEI agenda -in scholarship, in the workplace, or in higher education. In this PDW, we seek to address this gap as we help participants deepen their understanding of the conditions, scope and outcomes of antisemitism and identify how we can combat antisemitism through our research, teaching, and engagement in practice. We hope this interactive PDW will be a catalyst for cultivating a community of management scholars who will work collective through research and practice to challenge the rise of antisemitism in the workplace and in higher education.
