As paradox scholarship continues to thrive, researchers face mounting pressure to improve their methodological approaches and produce robust empirical work that not only advances paradox theory but also resonates with a broader audience. As the field becomes increasingly interdisciplinary, there is a pressing need to explore new opportunities for cross-domain collaboration without compromising theoretical depth and rigor. Following two successful methods PDWs within the RM division, we propose to look inwards and outwards by having an interdisciplinary conversation on paradox research. In doing so, we aim to engage in a dialogue around both the challenges and potential of bridging paradox perspectives with mainstream management and psychology scholarship. In the first part, our invited scholars, skilled in both qualitative and quantitative methods and from both inside and outside the community, will share interdisciplinary insights on studying paradox. During the second part, participants will have the chance pose questions in an open Q&A session. By examining methodological questions related to tensions, contradictions, and paradoxes from different perspectives, this workshop appeals not only to established paradox scholars but also to an expanding audience keen on integrating paradox lenses into broader organizational studies.
