This workshop provides an interactive forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to deepen their understanding of the role of emotions in experiential learning (EL). Drawing on the theoretical research of panel members, we explore the emotional engagement of both learners and educators, highlighting critical aspects of emotional dynamics in EL. Key constructs, such as forming connection, sharing struggles, and emotion focused dialogue, will be examined for their practical application—not just for EL practitioners, but for all management educators and practitioners. Through small group dialogue, participants will actively engage in discussion to enhance their understanding of emotions dynamics in learning. The session aims to: (1) raise awareness of theoretical developments on emotions in learning by incorporating diverse scholarly perspectives; (2) build participants’ capacity to understand and manage the emotional dynamics at play in EL; (3) encourage reflection on how these insights can enhance current practices and scholarship; and (4) inspire future collaboration and community building among researchers, educators, and practitioners.
