For over a century, business education has centered on the written case study method, immersing learners in real-world scenarios where protagonists face complex challenges. Through classroom discussions, students apply models and tools to explore solutions, fostering critical thinking and active engagement beyond traditional lectures. Today, advances in technology open new opportunities to move beyond written cases, enabling even more dynamic and immersive learning experiences. In this session participants will experience firsthand how extended reality (XR) technologies are being integrated into the classroom. They will discuss how these technologies transform the educational landscape, enhance student engagement, foster deeper understanding, and create immersive learning environments.
This session is part of the Teaching and Learning Conference (TLC@AOM). Space is limited; separate complimentary TLC@AOM pre-registration on a first-come, first-served basis is required. The TLC@AOM registration deadline is 27 July 2025, unless sold out. Register for TLC@AOM.
