The Human-Centric GenAI-First (HCAIF) framework combined with the NuYou IT-platform, offers a transformative model for integrating Generative AI (GenAI) into higher education. The model is founded on five Design Science principles—1) Personalized Learning, 2) Continuous Feedback, 3) Collaborative Learning with Ethical AI, 4) Real-World Applications, and 5) Teacher Guidance. Drawing on two years of testing and practical implementation at three universities, HCAIF synthesizes human-centered pedagogy with GenAI across four core stages: 1) Teacher-AI Collaboration, 2) Personalised Learning, 3) Classroom Engagement, and 4) Comprehensive Assessment Framework. By enhancing efficiency, providing adaptive learning pathways, enabling real-time feedback, improved learning outcomes and facilitating AI-supported assessments, HCAIF maintains academic integrity and ethical safeguards. In this interactive workshop, educators, instructional designers, and academic/industry leaders will learn Design Science (evidence-based) strategies for integrating GenAI into learning design and pedagogy. Three facilitators from two continents will guide participants through demonstrations, case studies, and hands-on activities. Attendees will depart with a practical toolkit for scalable implementation ensuring Human Centric GenAI driven improvements in diverse educational and training environments. Categories that apply to the proposal: Technology in the classroom; Measurement of learning; Experiential/Active/Problem-based learning; Curricular design/redesign; AI in teaching and student usage.
