18624: Leading a Global Flourishing Agenda: An Invitation

This poster, showcases research findings from an unprecedented global survey of flourishing (wave 1 findings will be released April 30), as well as research conducted by the Institute for Strategic Clarity that advances future thinking by promoting the focus on flourishing of all life on the planet as a critical part of regenerative leadership. As part of the ongoing problematisations and provocations for creative systems change in the ways we organise and transform shared societal structures to accelerate the achievement of the UNSDGs, we create an inclusive space for debate, experimentation and renewed commitment to progress also Global Flourishing Goals. Such Ecosystem-Wide Flourishing promotes holistic well-being for all, pursued toward ultimate ends, and manifested across all levels and realms—social, economic, political, physical, natural, spiritual, and more. This view of flourishing is also a mark of leadership fostering regeneration, and simultaneously renewal in how we understand leadership itself. We join in perspectives promoting leadership as a form of love in action—rooted in deep awareness, presence, and care—which shapes new and better worlds from the raw materials of the present moment. True leadership is about cultivating the capacity within a system to empower every member to contribute their unique gifts toward a noble, shared purpose to serve the common good. We present Leadership for Flourishing as a thought-provoking idea as well as an invitation – a call to action - one that we hope will inspire scholars and practitioners to consider Ecosystem-Wide Flourishing as the ideal guiding goal for leadership.
