Entrepreneurial learning is a critical mechanism to catalyze entrepreneurial activities. This mechanism is especially salient for resource constrained environments that often rely on knowledge transfer from developed economies. During an inductive qualitative study of entrepreneurial learning in Benin, West Africa, we examine how learning groups composed of foreign education providers, local government officials, and local community members coordinate knowledge transfer across municipalities. Our preliminary findings examine the formation of these heterogeneous learning groups and how swift trust is deployed to support and facilitate rapid learning and knowledge transfer while navigating complex sociocultural conditions.
