An in-depth review of faculty affairs and faculty success would bring to light key differences that may not be observed or discovered at a high level. After careful analysis they do indeed have similarities but also key differences in terms of focused outcomes. Either way, the key functions of both faculty affairs and faculty success are essential in the pursuit of academic excellence within higher education. We discuss the similarities and differences between faculty affairs and faculty success, outline the scope and dimensions of both, and highlight the significance of this role in higher education.
