Private medical practices are pivotal to each healthcare system, acting as essential intermediaries between patients and practitioners. Despite their critical role, these practices face complex organizational and managerial challenges that are often outside the scope of traditional medical training. This study, based on longitudinal socio-economic intervention research initiated in 2017, identifies key dysfunctions and proposes strategies to enhance organizational performance. By incorporating insights from management consulting, the study explores additional challenges, such as resistance to change, limited strategic alignment, and the complexities of stakeholder management, while emphasizing ambidextrous approaches to balance immediate and long-term priorities.
