The study explores to what extent Artificial Intelligence (AI) can assist or even replace HR specialists in the recruitment process, particularly in the selection of the best candidates for the job post. Using a database consisting of 758 candidates' resumes the selection process was realized by HR specialists and separately by IT specialists who used AI based on the Large Language Model (LLM). All candidates applied at the same time for one specified managerial job post that was titled: President of the Champion Hall League. All experts involved in the study worked on the same job description. The world is captivated by artificial intelligence, and it is assumed that it will perform many tasks on behalf of humans. However, comparison analysis shows that selections conducted by HR Specialists and selections suggested by AI were significantly different. The findings emphasize that AI suggestions are not always trustworthy, and AI should be used carefully, especially regarding decisions concerning humans.
