Pre-registration required: This year’s OSCM Division company visit will be held at UNICEF’s Global Supply and Logistics Hub in Copenhagen. This warehouse spans over 20,000 m2, making it the largest humanitarian warehouse in the world. It can store up to 36,000 pallets, or movable blocks, of supplies and is considered the biggest warehouse in Denmark. In particular, it stores products to manage safe water, sanitation and hygiene, school and medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, among a wide range of items that facilitate children’s healthcare, education and protection, including some emergency supplies on behalf of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). The warehouse visit includes an introduction to the UNICEF Global Supply and Logistics department, a guided tour, and a Q&A. Note that this session has a maximum of 30 pre-registered participants. Please sign up as a participant before 2 July 2025 via the following form: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/WyJPywKZ7v (this link directs you to a Microsoft Office Form created by Desirée van Dun, Politecnico di Milano). It is important that you bring your passport or identity card to the session to get access to the warehouse.
