In this study, we explore the leadership behaviors of autistic leaders through a content analysis of anonymous online discussion board posts from leaders, employees of autistic leaders, and leadership trainers. From an analysis of 220 posts, we find that the psychological characteristics of autistic leaders endow them with unique strengths that can also challenge their capacity to initiate structure, provide a compelling direction, and support the development of followers.
