The University of Bath is a top 10 UK University with a reputation for research and teaching excellence. We were ranked 132 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026. We’re a leading centre for research. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework, 56% of our submissions met the 4* standard (the highest possible) with 93% of our research being assessed as ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. This placed us 7th in the UK out of 108 submissions. We are also accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and EQUIS, the European Foundation for Management Development’s quality inspectorate. The School of Management is home to more than 170 academics with a huge range of specialisms. Our work spans a broad spectrum, including questioning how artificial intelligence will affect the way we work; mapping out local entrepreneurial ecosystems; and shining a spotlight on human rights issues in supply chains. The common theme running through our research is Research4Good. It’s work that improves people’s lives, enhances our community and strengthens our economy through real-world impact. We’re proud to be contributing to a better world.
